I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix ) K. f" Q' q. v8 K0 P( k* ^2 v: P8 n3 e. Y
